Property Sales Consultant (Sales Negotiator)

The Company

The Role

Helping people to achieve their property dreams and aspirations is at the heart of what we do. You will be responsible for looking after a portfolio of properties available for sale ensuring homeowners receive the best advice and guidance whilst helping buyers to find and secure their dream home.

 

This will involve:

 

  • Sales and performance targets relating to the quality and quantity of your work
  • On occasion, showing clients around properties
  • Handling enquiries from homeowners and buyers
  • Arranging appointments with homeowners for buyers to see properties
  • Promoting properties for sale with prospective buyers
  • Managing lists of prospective buyers or homeowners
  • Conducting a range of digital and traditional marketing activities online and via social
  • Receiving and negotiating offers
  • Qualifying and progressing sales
  • Liaising with third parties including solicitors, financial advisors, surveyors and other Estate Agents

 

 

The Individual

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and highly confident individual to join our buzzing team. Even if you have no previous Estate Agency experience, we can help nurture and develop your talents.  This is primarily a sales role so you will need to be self-motivated and driven to achieve results without the need for constant supervision and monitoring.  Moving home can be stressful, so you will need a natural empathy and resilience to support our customers through challenging times.  A real passion for helping others.  We’re scouting for people who take responsibility for our customer's best interests and have the integrity to do what is right.

 

 

The Skills & Experiences

We are a modern company that utilises the latest technologies and applications to deliver our services. Therefore you will need to be computer literate and competent in using the Microsoft Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office applications like Teams and Outlook.

 

Your interpersonal skills will be crucial to your success in this role. You will need to demonstrate that you can build an authentic rapport with people quickly and influence them to achieve successful outcomes and results. You must be an excellent and confident communicator.

 

Previous experience working in a customer service and sales role for a minimum of two years will be necessary. You will need to demonstrate that your working experience has equipped you with the ability to persuade and influence others and conduct conversations which create positive outcomes and results. Evidence of delivering great experiences for your customers will be important to us along with a track record of achieving targets.

 

Your schedule will be busy, so organisation skills are going to be very important along with well-developed negotiation skills. You will be expected to deliver strong performance through self-motivation, working toward qualitative and quantitative targets. Each team member is expected to contribute to the success and growth of the team generating new business and acquiring new customers. Communication is pivotal to the role and you will be expected to keep in regular contact with your customers and carry out a range of marketing activities online and via social media.

The Requirements of the Role

The role requires an amount of travel outside of the office while visiting customers and properties, so access to transport and a full driver's license is required. Due to the nature of the work and privileged access to personal data and properties, you must be trustworthy with no criminal convictions.

 

The Location

We operate from two branches in Doncaster based in Edenthorpe and Bessacarr.  You will be required to spend time on-site at both locations.

The Package

  • OTE (DOE) up to £30,000 per annum (Uncapped Commission).
  • Holidays start at 28 days per annum (including bank holidays) increasing yearly.
  • Company pension.
  • Free Parking.
  • Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00, plus alternate Saturdays 09:00 – 12:00.
