Property Sales Consultant (Sales Negotiator)

The Property Hive is one of Doncaster's most recognisable brands renowned for its passionate approach to helping people to move.

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our buzzing team. Even if you have no previous Estate Agency experience, we can help nurture and develop your talents.

Ideal Experience

Previous experience working in a customer service and sales role for a minimum of two years will be necessary. You will need to demonstrate that your working experience has helped you develop solid skills that allow you to persuade and influence others and conduct conversations which create positive outcomes and results.  Evidence of delivering great experiences for your customers will be important to us along with a track record of delivering to targets.

Key Skills

We are a modern company that utilises the latest technologies and applications to deliver our services.  Therefore you will need to be equipped with computer competency and familiarity with using the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications.

Your interpersonal skills will be crucial to your success in this role.  You will need to demonstrate that you can build a rapport with people quickly with authenticity whilst influencing others to achieve successful outcomes and sales results. You must be an excellent and confident communicator with energy and passion for helping others.

Primarily, this is a sales role, so the ability and motivation to achieve results and targets are pivotal.

Day-to-day Tasks & Responsibilities

No two days are the same and your day is likely to be varied and dynamic.  Helping people to achieve their property-related dreams and aspirations is at the heart of what we do. You will be responsible for looking after your portfolio of properties for sale and helping prospective buyers to secure their dream homes. 

This will involve meeting people in person and getting to see some amazing properties.  Your schedule will be busy, so organisation skills are going to be very important along with well-developed influencing and negotiation skills.  You will be expected to deliver strong performance through self-motivation, working toward qualitative and quantitative targets.  Each team member is expected to contribute to the success and growth of the team generating new business and acquiring new customers. Communication is pivotal to the role and you will be expected to keep in regular contact with your customers and carry out a range of marketing activities online and via social media.

Requirements of the Role

The role requires an amount of travel outside of the office while visiting customers and properties, so access to transport and a full driver's license is required.  Due to the nature of the work and privileged access to personal data and properties, you must be trustworthy with no criminal convictions. 

Working Hours

Full-time regular working hours would be Mon-Fri 09:00 - 17:30, plus alternate Saturdays 09:00 - 12:00.  Flexibility may be necessary on occasion and we recognise that works both ways.

Salary Range: OTE £22,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on competency levels and experience)
